It Is Never Jealous,
Sophomore year came and was near and end now. I was walking down the street holding hands with my boyfriend Henry. I was looking up at him when he stopped walking and pulled me to his chest.
“What’s up?” I asked him as he smiled down at me.
“I’m just thinking.”
“About what?”
“Us,” I looked at him quizzically, “How long have we been going out now?”
“Almost a year, why?”
“That’s what I thought but I was talking to my friends and they were telling me how it definitely, most certainly not a year.” I laughed and looked down at the ground. He lifted my chin so I was looking at him and kissed me softly and gently on the lips. When he pulled away he lent his forehead against my forehead. “I love you.”
I was shocked and I looked at him. In his eyes I saw the love he had for me and I smiled.
“I love you too.”
